92 from Vinous:
The 2015 Colpetrone Rosso di Montefalco is much more refined and perfumed than I would have expected from this warm vintage, showing peppery herbs and dusty florals, plus crushed red wild berries and a hint of dusty earth. On the palate, silky textures envelop all that they touch in ripe cherry fruit and sweet spices, made juicy through vibrant acidity and minerals, as round tannins slowly settle in. The finish is medium in length, leaning more toward the tart black fruit spectrum, yet with a salty twang that makes the mouth water. The 2017 is really quite stunning today. A blend of 70% Sangiovese with equal parts Merlot and Sagrantino.
