One of the best examples of the best part of the one red grand cru in the Cote de Beaune.
British Burgundy specialist Jasper Morris says:
Full crimson, not purple-black here. Smooth and graceful bouquet. Deep red cherry, a certain sucrosity, fruit loads the front of the palate then proceeds gracefully to the back. Just enough acidity, but quite different in style to the Corton. Apricots too. 14.6% and pH 3.50.
