2018 Veema Côteaux d'Aix-en-Provence Rosé

From the most prestigious Provencal appellation outside of Bandol, the Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence, this is, as its importer proudly states, “a remarkable custom blend.” It also combines the talents of the Southern Rhone’s top oenologist, Philippe Cambie, with those of Northern Rhone superstar Michel Tardieu. And with its amazing perfume and flavor, it frankly blows away any Bandol Rosé we’ve sold this year…and maybe even the Sancerres! The only other store to have any sells it for $23.99. I love the delicacy of this Rosé combined with the incredibly intense aromas of red fruit, peach and citrus. It has a wonderful fullness in the mouth but still has a freshness and even minerality in the finish.
