You might almost look at this as a special bottling of Forman Cabernet. Where the Forman is generally about 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, from vineyards lower down in St. Helena, this one is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, all from a single vineyard on Howell Mountain. Indeed, it has the purity, power and concentration of Forman’s great 2010 Cabernet, a Parker 98 that now sells for $200.
Forman makes less than 300 cases of this beauty – and only three other stores (two in California) have any. The St. Helena Wine center sold out at $50. Ours is of course the best price anywhere.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon, made at Forman by Forman’s winemaker from Forman’s top Howell Mountain vineyard.
