The 2013 vintage will be known for elegant, vibrant wines with well-developed tannins and fresh acidity. The nose exudes ripe berries and sweet vanilla toast, finishing with hints of sweet mint and white pepper. The entrance is firm with lively and vibrant acids. The tannins are classic of Cabernet Franc, long, soft and supple. While not heavy on the palate, there is a potent underlying power, elegance, and finesse. Dark fruits like black cherry and plums dominate the floral tones of rose and honeysuckle. The finish is also classic of Cabernet Franc; slightly herbal, sweet oregano, cedar with a fresh, cool harvest, minerality.
