British wine writer Jancis Robinson, who also noted the “sulfite free vinification” here, flipped for this, saying it “has masses of impact” and is “worth buying by the case.”

Dunnuck rated it 91+, calling it “outstanding” and saying:

Vivid ruby/purple-colored, with notes of cassis and black raspberries as well as spring flowers, it hits the palate with medium-bodied richness, firm tannins, terrific purity, and a clean finish. The blend is 87% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 8% Cabernet Franc. It’s going to benefit from 2-4 years of bottle age and keep for 15+.

Suckling also rate it 91:

The blackberry and asphalt aromas are very vibrant with hints of graphite, too. Full-bodied, tight and chewy with juicy fruit and a long finish.

Vinous rated it outstanding, too, saying it was “worth seeking out.”
