Decanter 94:
Complex and inviting aromas of blackcurrant, black cherry, and fig. Lovely plush and intensely concentrated fruit palate of raspberry, mulberry, cassis, and crunchy black fruits. Well-integrated tannins, structured, and a long finish of cool mint, clove, and tobacco.
In this classic Medoc vintage, it actually outscores many classified growths at several times the price.

Owned by a member of the Lurton family, the most prolific vineyard owners in Bordeaux, this estate has produced a well-balanced wine touched by wood but focused on black fruits. Richness is balanced by attractive acidity and fruitiness. Drink this wine from 2023.

There’s a very nicely focused core of ripe blackcurrant sand plums here, all framed in fine, curved walls of tannins that contain and focus the finish.
