The vintage Classique, top of the range of the vinery, presents an aromatic complex pallet of black fruits, spices and leather. Ample with silky tannins, this wine presents a beautiful potential of ageing.
It’s 65% old-vine Syrah, and again, Roussel’s struggle with a wine so rich and concentrated as this is to extract it as gently as possible to maintain elegance and finesse. Still, it’s a blockbuster!
