Suckling 95:
Very attractive aromas of cherries and currants with subtle cedar, mahogany and floral character, following through to a full body with a deep center palate of fruit and creamy, refined tannins that carry through the beautiful finish. Succulent and wonderful. I like the minerally undertone to it.
For any quality 2016 Brunello – let alone a rare single-vineyard luxury cuvee, this one is almost laughably underpriced.
And though it’s beautiful now, this should age wonderfully for years.
