There as a lot of substance to this, and also a good whack of oak, which a large Bordeaux stem helps dissipate. Excellent Red Mountain character, and, after air, tannin makes its presence felt. It needs a few years to integrate and round out.

Too young, but opened up nicely during the evening. Big but subdued at the outset and the nose didn't come out for about an hour. Nice fruit and all the parts are there. I really enjoyed it over the evening, but it will show better in at least a couple of years.
