It is difficult to forget this Recioto due to its high levels of complexity and structure. The very best grapes are laid to rest on reed beds until February. The must ferments slowly to accentuate the wonderful aromatic flavour and taste. The wine is briefly left to age in oak barrels and refine in bottles. It is excellent at once but it can also be stored for a decade without losing any of its special qualities.
