And Burghound – who rates this over some quite famous Pinots at literally 8 times its price:
A slightly more complex nose combines notes of red and dark pinot fruit with more evident spice nuances. Once again there is a certain tenderness to the medium weight and attractively textured flavors that also conclude in a more noticeable bitter pit fruit character on the mildly drying finish. This could be drunk now or aged for a year or two first.
And he’s right: this review was in 2020, and this Pinot is even finer now: softer, more pliant and more lovely.
