The 2016 Chardonnay Bien Nacido Lead Vocals is classy and polished to the core. Bright citrus, saline and floral notes give this mid-weight, beautifully focused Chardonnay much of its distinctive character. This is a decidedly taut, focused wine from Bien Nacido. There is so much to like. Josh Klapper crafted a wine with tons of personality and class.
What’s more, this brilliant Chardonnay is still quite young and should go on for years.
If you don’t believe a California Chardonnay can compete stylistically and in quality and complexity with tippity-top white Burgundy, you owe it to yourself to try this one.
