The combination of cooler, higher-altitude vineyards here and limestone makes this superb Ventoux just so much more seamlessly elegant and refined than the Cotes-du-Rhones from farther west.
As the winery explains:
The vineyards flourish and blossom in a natural classified site, by the Unesco, as a biosphere reserve. They are sheltered from the mistral thanks to Mont Ventoux and the Laces of Montmirail. The vineyards grow on a clay-limestone soil among an amazing natural scene, giving birth to grapes expressing a unique and genuine typicity in Provence.
It also earned 92 points at the International Wine Challenge, which said:

Plus a number of Gold Medals and outstanding scores from Decanter and several European wine competitions.
