This is our style of cool-climate California Chardonnay.
It’s from one of California’s supreme Chardonnay sites, the great Dupratt Vineyard in the Anderson Valley. Here, the owners had the foresight to plant Wente Clone (tiny yields, supreme quality) Chardonnay on this very cool, high-altitude ridge over 40 years ago, and have dry farmed them ever since.

Hailing from the remote, western reaches of the Anderson Valley along Greenwood Ridge, the DuPratt Vineyard has some of the oldest vines and one of the coolest climates in the region. Teeming with compelling minerality, this terroir-driven wine reveals fresh citrus zest, apple blossom and wet stone characteristics.
It also ages amazingly well – and this brilliant 2017 vintage (like a great white Burgundy) is just coming into its own.
