93 from the Wine Advocate:
Olive tapenade, licorice, smoked herbs and plenty of peppery black fruits emerge from the 2014 Columbia Valley Syrah, and it's medium to full-bodied, rich, concentrated and beautifully textured. It's another smoking wine from this estate that has real character and depth.
Tanzer agrees:
(13.9% alcohol): Moderately saturated bright red-ruby. Slightly musky aromas of blackberry, blueberry, licorice, menthol and black pepper, with a whiff of game. Dense and juicy, with harmonious acidity giving shape and lift to its dark berry, pepper and violet flavors. Not a particularly fleshy or sweet wine but offers lovely inner-mouth perfume and saline minerality. Finishes with a fine dusting of tannins and subtle length. Suave Syrah, not at all overdone--and much more polite than the 2013 version at the same stage. I like this.
Both rate this superb Syrah higher than many of Gramercy’s more expensive single vineyards.
For truly top-class Washington Syrah – and a favorite of the Country’s top restaurants as well, this one is a steal.
