2017 La Giaretta Amarone I Quadretti

This rare wonder, from a tiny one-hectare, steep hillside plot (a walled clos actually) of perfectly situated vines well over 100-years-old, is even greater. Indeed, it compares to the absolute elite Amarones that now sell for $400 or more…except it’s even harder to find.

As always, however, this one is VERY limited.

One of the absolute best Amarone bottles ever. A rich style but does not taste overly alcoholic or weigh down the palate. A must try for anyone who has ever had their entry level Amarone (which is an exceptional value in itself). This bottle could definitely cellar for a little while also.

The reviewer is right. Simply profound. As great as Amarone gets.
