There’s nothing quite like Mount Eden Chardonnay and that from its sister property Domain Eden. They are among the most “Burgundian” Chardonnays in America, but I find them absolutely distinctive and easily identifiable too.
When I first smelled this wonder 2017 Domain Eden Chardonnay I said: “Classic Mount Eden. And a good one, too.”
In fact this 2017 is the top-rated Domain Eden yet for the Wine Advocate, and the second highest rated for Vinous and the Wine Enthusiast.
This stuff ages, too…I had a 1990 Mount Eden Chardonnay a few years back that was spectacular!
