From the winery:
While working with our growers in Napa Valley, we came across small, premium vineyard lots of Merlot, which served as our inspiration to create Thorn. The Merlot was blended with Syrah to create depth in the body while Malbec and Petite Sirah accentuate the fruit.
Cocoa, mocha, espresso, and dark cherry aromas. Full with medium tannins and a juicy finish.
80% Merlot; 20% Blend of Syrah, Petite Sirah, and Malbec.
