Primitivo grapes are harvested from old free standing vineyards. Its colour is deep red with very nice violet hints. Its bouquet is really intense and reminiscent of fruit jam, blackcurrants, cherries, mulberries, cocoa and liquorice. With its round, smooth taste with fruity notes and an aromatic aftertaste, Papale is ideal with all dishes, in particular braised and red stewed meat.
