Bauer says:
A crisp, lively Grüner Veltliner with ripe apple and pear fruit, balanced with fresh acidity and a touch of spice and citrus on the dry and lingering finish. A delicious aperitif or enjoyable with firm cheeses, charcuterie and simple fish or chicken dishes. Excellent quality and value from the Wagram.
Unlike most Gruners at this level, this is hand harvested, treated very gently and naturally, and aged extensively on its lees.
In other words, the sort of high-quality Grüner Veltliner you seldom if ever see under $20.
