A Malbec blended with 30% Cabernet Sauvignon from Paraje Altamira, aged in mostly used French barrels. The fragrant, fruity nose presents cherry, black currant, plum and sour cherry and hints of lavender, violet and characterful herbs. Relaxed and dry on the palate, it is full of fruity grace and a good acidity that injects life into the contoured body. Delivers well-defined flow and a bold finish where the complex, heady aromatic profile makes a comeback. A standout wine with a lot to give, without ever going too far.
From a legendary former winemaker for Catena, this is nothing short of sensational.
