Aromas of dried red berries, colored flowers, dried fruit, and sage. Medium-to full-bodied with fine tannins. Begins with bright, fleshy fruit and gains iron-like mineral character as the palate evolves. Herbs begin to appear as well. Intriguing and completely delicious. Excellent complexity and balance going on here. 39% grenache, 38% mourvedre and 13% syrah, the rest counoise, grenache blanc, picpoul and cinsault. Will be even better in a year.
