Many years ago I sold a Bordeaux called “Terre du Lion,” which was from the young vines of Leoville Las Cases. It was the 2000 vintage and sold for $20. Customers who bought it tell me it’s still wonderful today.
Here’s the first such opportunity I’ve seen since. And from a Chateau not-to-be-revealed. (Except I’ve figured out what it is – one of the top wines of the Graves – and it’s one of my own personal favorites, even at its current price of $200+.)
The sheer depth and seriousness of this red Graves, for only $20, will blow you away. Too bad there’s not more of it.
