93 from Suckling, the top Silver Ghost yet:
Aromas and flavors of dried flowers with currants, blackberries and violets. It’s full-bodied with soft, refined tannins and a savory finish. Pretty length, too.
The Tasting Panel flipped for it, too, rating it one of their top Napa Cabs of the vintage:
Deep garnet, rich plum nose, smooth and graceful, lush and toasty with ripe plum fruit; balanced, long and elegant.
This could easily pass for one of the $100+ Cabernets that normally issue from the vineyards in it.
