The Wine Spectator says:
A ripe, overt style, with a burst of dark plum and blackberry fruit scored with anise and apple wood. A melted licorice note asserts itself on the toasty finish, with the fruit keeping pace. Best from 2023 through 2033.
They rate it better than the $150 Far Niente and equal to the $185 Bella Union Rutherford Cabernet and even $300 Far Niente Oakville Cabernet.
Ditto for the Wine Enthusiast:
Featuring a soft, plush texture and the earthiness of cedar and sage, this wine takes on a wealth of baking spice, from nutmeg to clove. Chalky and velvety tannins coat a full-bodied concentration of dusty red fruit that does justice to the exceptional vintage and appellation.
Dunnuck and Suckling rated this Outstanding, too.
Again, we have the best price in the State of anyone who even has this classic Napa Cabernet.
