Of the 46 Cristom Pinot Noirs James Suckling has reviewed, only two (at far higher prices) scored higher than this 2019 Mt. Jefferson.

This is very seductive on the nose with ripe strawberry, spice, flowers and hints of cloves. Full-bodied, but very reserved and tight with chewy, polished tannins and a long, long finish. Racy and structured. Try after 2024.
Keep in mind, of 16 Beaux Frere Pinots Suckling has reviewed, his highest score ever was 96. And of 1215 Willamette Valley Pinot Noirs he’s reviewed, only 5 have scored higher. (All of course WAY more expensive than this.)
