The vineyards here were planted in 1972, between Calera and Chalone and the Santa Lucia Highlands. They’ve had the same vineyard manager for 40 years and most employees for at least 25 years. They’re certified sustainable (among many certifications) and all the operations are wind powered. Their winemaker was actually born and raised locally and was the first woman winemaker in Monterey.
