From old vines in five of the finest sites in Vergisson, including en France (premier cru in 2020). Hand picked (very tough with the Covid labour shortage), very gently whole cluster pressed, and aged in 2/3rd seasoned oak and 1/3rd tank.
As the domain says, this combines the purity of ripe fruit with the typical minerality of Vergisson terroirs. What’s more, in 2020, it combines vivacity and tension with rich, forward fruit in a way very few Chardonnays (even top Pouilly-Fuissés) ever manage.
