From the winery:
The nose is more reminiscent of a Syrah from the northern Rhone than a German Pinot Noir: some cherry and wild berry, plus plenty of cassis and mint, with hints of coffee, forest floor, liquorice...
On the palate, despite the density and power - which it undoubtedly possesses - it convinces with a rather elegant, delicate style. Embedded in an extremely fine, silky tannin structure, it is able to harmonize its minerality with all the fruit and spice in the most beautiful way.
Wild berries, blueberries, black cherries, chocolate, coffee, cloves, pepper and always mint...
