This small-production, French oak-aged wine was made with fruit from an 18-acre estate vineyard at elevations up to 2,220 feet on rocky red volcanic soil. Blended with 10% Petit Verdot and 5% Cabernet Franc, the stunning result is abundant in dark red fruit that polishes the palate with sweet tobacco, pomegranate, basil and mocha. There’s a hint of cedar and red pepper on the long finish.
No other store anywhere lists this top 2020 vintage – and we just bought all there was, so I suspect that after the huge score, nobody else will!
