Suckling 95, top Marengo Barolo ever:
Lovely candied strawberry, rose petal, citrus and sandalwood aromas follow through to a medium to full body with chewy and rich tannins and a vivid finish. Nicely done.
I also love what Jancis Robinson said of a previous vintage: “This is so powerfully aromatic it could almost be a decongestant!”
Just an absolutely classic Barolo of the highest level.
