This is a special “prestige” cuvee made exclusively for the North Carolina importer. It’s essentially Peri’s very highly regarded vintage Brut, but aged longer on the lees for Paolo…sort of like the Bollinger R.D.
Because it does only go to our market, though, there is no press on it.
But even more than the regular Peri Vintage Brut (whose lowest price in Europe is over $25), this is truly Champagne-quality, very serious and delicious sparkling wine.
It’s 100% Chardonnay, aged on its lees for over 3 years (this was disgorged in January 2024) and bottled with a low dosage.
