Known as the lip stinger, Picpoul Blanc is a fun playful palate lifter, but they don’t call it the lip stinger for nothing! It’s bright acidity is puckering and lifts the wine to make it a perfect pairing for oysters, or seafood of any kind. The nose is led with a note of lemon and granny apple skin, with a hint of underripe pineapple. The mouth feel is grippy and racy, and presents almost a briney note. Skip the lemon on your oyster and just pour this instead! When sipping this wine, we hope you think of the Sonoma Coast - the thick fog, the fresh oysters, and the beautiful coastal views.
