Violet color. Aromas and flavors of black cherry, fresh ground baking spices and grilled garden herbs, pomegranate juice, and blackberry jam with a satiny, crisp, dry medium-to-full body and a warming, interesting, medium-long finish evoking notes of black cherry, chocolate, eucalyptus and pencil shavings, and pipe tobacco and clove with crunchy tannins and light oak flavor. A very good sipper all on its own with the potential to be even more expressive when properly matched with food.
