The 2020 vintage of this dazzling Sauvignon was the only New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc to make the Wine Spectator’s Top 100 list last year. They said:
Vibrant, juicy and wonderfully intense, showing off fleshy notes of passion fruit, mango and citrus, with mouthwatering acidity and a touch of saline and lemongrass on the finish.
But this 2021, in a freakishly great vintage, takes it to another level. In fact, I haven’t tasted a Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc that’s both as creamy rich and still pristinely fresh as this.
