And of course, the Wine Spectator (where a Top 100 selection appears quite likely) says:
Elegantly structured, with refined black cherry and currant flavors that are accented by tobacco and spice notes as this glides on the sleek finish. Drink now through 2031.
It also earned a Gold Medal and 96 points at the Northwest International Wine Competition.
What separates this Cabernet from the pack – and by a mile – is the combination of truly top vineyards, with sure handed winemaking (Rob Griffin is Washington’s longest tenured winemaker), and an uncompromising focus on quality you just don’t see in under-$30 Cabernets.
This one is something special: and don’t be surprised if it makes the Top 100 list (or even the Top Ten one) next year.
