Suckling 96 – best Tapestry ever:

A layered and lightly chewy red with currant, orange peel and hints of hazelnut. Fine tannins. Some pine, cedar, graphite, black currant and iodine. Perfumed. Tannins turn fine and bright. Excellent length and serious tension. One of the best I have had. A blend of 60% cabernet sauvignon, 15% petit verdot, 11% cabernet franc, 9% malbec and 5% merlot. Drinkable but will age nicely. Best in two or three years.

Best ever for Dunnuck, too:

A cuvee that was first made in 1990, the 2021 Tapestry Reserve is another large production release that brings the goods. More black fruits, chocolate, licorice, and dusty earth notes define the aromatics, and it's medium to full-bodied, with a layered, elegant mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a great finish. Bravo to the team at Beaulieu for delivering this level of quality at this production level!

And best ever on CellarTracker, too, with reviews like this:

Always one of my go-to cabs at its price point, this had racy red fruit alongside just the right acidity and a slight savory note. The fruit was particularly enticing and held up well on the 2nd day too. I recently had the '16 George de Latour, and frankly it was more closed and uninviting compared to this.
