Outstanding for the Tasting Panel and Somm Journal:
Concentrated dark fruit aromas greet the nose with rich flavors of blackberry and raspberry. A perceived sweetness and velvety mouthfeel complement the toasted oak and baking spice.
Interestingly, this was aged in 82% Hungarian oak, which is even tighter grained than French, to preserve its pure, velvety richness from any excessive oaky qualities.
Just a paradigm of quality Merlot, at a truly exceptional price.
