Wine Spectator 93:
This bright red is saturated with cherry, raspberry, graphite and tobacco flavors, lifted by dense, well-mannered tannins that leave an impact on the finish. Fresh and focused. Best from 2027 through 2042.
Also the best Bossi ever for Jancis Robinson, with this great review:
Lustrous, concentrated ruby with the beginning of orange tinges. Deep nose of cherry and raspberry fruit and stony notes. Gorgeous, lush, tangy sour-cherry fruit with tannic bite on the finish.
Indeed, she even rates this above their Suckling 98-point 2015 Berardo Riserva! (And the Wine Spectator rates it equal.)
As does Italian wine writer Raffaele Vecchione.
Top 2021 Chiantis – let alone those from Berardenga – are virtually impossible to find under $30. So snag this one while you can.
