This 2021 vintage, not surprisingly, is the top Conundrum on CellarTracker, where one reviewer says:
Taste much different than other vintages. I tasted 2 days later and tasted much better and more honey suckle and melon notes like I’d remembered.
Charlie Wagner is clearly the white wine master of the Caymus clan. (Which is, I suppose, like being the salad master at my house…but still, his 2021 Conundrum is quite impressive.)
As exotic, complex and unique as it was back in 1989…but now as dry as it was, too.
