Freshly brewed espresso and grated dark chocolate are the first things it shows in the aroma. Blackcurrant, blackberry and overflowing ripe raspberries add the fruitiness. The barrel gives itself away in a sip, the sweet spices, the roasted notes, the muscular tannin sensation carry it to the massive side. Southern red, kneaded into muscle, it has power, tightness, alcohol and tannin, fruit and spice, and lasting flavors.
