Best ever for the Tasting Panel:
Bramble, plum, and sweet tobacco reveal themselves within the seamless mouthfeel of this high-toned yet earthy red, returning for its second vintage. Following a clean path of fine acidity, the finish of rose and wild strawberry is memorable.
Outstanding for Dunnuck, too:
The 2021 Red Blend checks in as 58% Petite Sirah and 42% Zinfandel that spent 11 months in larger oak. It’s a juicy, strawberry, sandalwood, and spicy red that s medium to full-bodied, soft, up-front, and delicious. It would be one hell of a house red.
Always one of the best “big rich reds” for the money, this 2021 vintage – a great one for California – is just a bit “extra.”
