Opening with concentrated purple hues and black, brambly fruit aromatics the senses fire up with indications of top-level quality. Wow! Opening up with background notes of French Oak vanillin, fresh earth, mushrooms and underwood complexities, this has pure, mountain Cabernet expression. Full-bodied and expansive tannin structure leads into full-length impact upon the palate. Charred bitter fruits interlaced with cranberry, black currant, and mottled blackberries are all intertwined. The acid and tannin balance promises a wine that will hold for well over two decades in proper cellaring conditions.
