British Master of Wine and Burgundy specialist Jasper Morris rates this 2022 the
best vintage ever, saying:
Made from 80-100 years old, all in barrel with 20% new, mostly Viré with a touch
of Quintaine. Bottled end January 2024. There is certainly significant extra density
to this, filling the mouth while staying entirely in white fruit. A pure clean and long
finish with admirable texture. Drink from 2026-2031.
And a some CellarTracker reviews:
Tasting notes of candied lemon, nutshell, a creamy texture, and a
subtle dash of minerality. This is a rich and seductive wine that is
met with a great layer of acidity toward the back palate that
brings you back for more. After trying this bottle for the first
time, I will absolutely be buying a case to enjoy over the next 3-5 years.
I scored this wine 93+ points. Insane value that you must try!
Smells just great. Quite awesome this year. And on the palate as. well. Such a great vintage for them.
