2022 Gagnard-Delagrange Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru “Boudriotte”

There are tons of Blains and Gagnards in Chassagne, but this estate, Gagnard-Delagrange, is the one most directly in the lineage of the legendary Edmond Delagrange, who along with Andre Ramonet did more than anyone to establish the reputation of Chassagne-Montrachet. It’s run now by his great-grandson, Marc-Antoine Blain, who learned the old methods from his grandfather.
