Dark ruby red in color with aromas of rich chocolate, black currant, ripe blackberry and hints of cedar and leather. The palate is rich and satisfying with flavors of boysenberry jam, black cherry pie, dark currant, and cocoa nibs. Full yet elegant on the palate, with strong acidity and a long, smooth finish accompanied by velvety tannins.
This may be even more velvety-smooth and appealing than the Quilt Napa Cabernet. At least those who attending our last Quilt tasting thought so.

Wagner explains that he named his Napa Cabernet Quilt because its like a patchwork blending great vineyards from all over Napa. But the name fits here more because it just wraps you up in so much rich, opulent and enveloping fruit and flavor!
