Captivating aromas of dark berry fruits intermix with graphite, violets and perfumed dried rose petal. The wine is seamless, buttressed by superfine tannins. That graphite minerality brings real depth and dimension on the palate. The long, full-bodied finish reveals a kind of cocoa nib freshness and lingering floral tones. This blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc, 7% Petit Verdot and 3% Malbec is organically farmed from a 12-acre estate vineyard perched atop Howell Mountain and was aged for 22 months in 100% new French oak.

The 2023 Estate Red Blend is composed of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc, 7% Petit Verdot, and 3% Malbec. Deep garnet-purple in color, it erupts from the glass with black currant jelly, blueberry preserves, and juicy plum notes, plus suggestions of camphor, pencil lead, red roses, and lavender. The full-bodied palate delivers a solid backbone of firm, grainy tannins and beautiful freshness to match the taut, muscular fruit, finishing long and fragrant.
