Light-bodied in terms of alcohol but with a rounded, hefty mouthfeel, this offers subtle yet complex flavors and a lingering finish. Aromas of hay and green apples and low-key flavors like golden apples, with a hint of grapefruit, minerals and lime zest. Made from clairette and grenache blanc. Drink or hold.
A very special white Cotes-du-Rhone, from two vineyards with old vines in galets roules, with limestone and clay.
We always love a good white Cotes-du-Rhone, but were frankly unprepared for just how rich, opulent and delicious this one is.
