Suckling 95:
A complex wine with a mix of ripe and fresh character. The nose shows apricots, lime peel, melon and smoky minerality. Very citrusy on the palate, medium-bodied and vibrant, with tingling acidity and a tense, savory finish. Long and tight yet precise. Drink or hold.
But the fact that Vinous rates this equal to or better than every single-vineyard Pra or Pieropan ever is hugely telling.
